About This Spot

Stepping into Chaykhana N1 Uzbek Cuisine feels like finding a quiet corner of Uzbekistan tucked away in the heart of West Chester Township. Set within the modest surroundings of Dimmick Plaza, this unassuming spot warmly invites you to pause and savor a culinary tradition that’s as rich in history as it is in flavor. The pace here is unhurried and welcoming, encouraging diners to settle in and connect over hearty, thoughtfully prepared dishes.

The atmosphere is grounded and intimate, striking a balance between comfort and a subtle buzz of cultural discovery. The friendly staff move with genuine care, reflecting the pride in sharing family recipes and a taste of home. It’s a place where tables fill steadily but never feel rushed, where the clinking of tea glasses and quiet conversations weave a shared sense of place.

Here, traditional Uzbek fare unfolds gently across the table—not as a checklist, but as a warm invitation to explore new flavors. From tender kebabs kissed by smoky embers to fragrant rice dishes dotted with sweet raisins, each bite tells a story. The signature samsa and plov, considered must-tries, offer a satisfying mix of textures and spices that linger warmly long after the meal. Accompanying these are rich, comforting soups and delicate pastries that evoke a sense of home-cooked care.

The meal is often rounded out with teas brewed to perfection and a selection of simple yet satisfying salads and pickled vegetables that balance the heartier plates. Dessert, when you arrive with enough room left, reveals an unexpected sweetness that speaks to tradition and celebration.

Regular visitors appreciate Chaykhana N1 not just for the flavors, but for the quiet ritual of an honest meal shared without pretense. It’s a calm portal into Uzbek culture, where the act of eating becomes a moment of connection—between ingredients, people, and stories carried across continents.

Delicious Uzbeki food! It never disappoints. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. We got Mastava soup, Samsa and Manti for appetizers, and Tuy Kebab & Chaykhana Steak as entrees. It'd have been a full meal for two even with just the manti and steak frites. Really good experience and wonderful staff. You'll have to be there earlier in the day to try their Plov or they run out!

Very nice restaurant and friendly stuff. The food is so delicious. We really like Chaykhana N1. The best samsa is there. Definitely recommend it.

Day trip from Cleveland to Cincinnati and before heading back home, I wanted to get lunch. I noticed a bunch of Uzbek restaurants/markets just outside of Cincinnati. Decided to try Chaykhana N1 and it was fantastic. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

This is my very first Uzbek cuisine experience and absolutely loved it. The restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall that also includes other restaurants, but this is the one you should try. The naan was their special clay oven bread which was phenomenal, then add on top Plove, a slow cooker lamb dish with rice with raisin accents. On top we had Uzbek green tea, salad and soup. My only regret is not finding this gem earlier.

I've stopped by here every year for the last three years. Every time has been fantastic when it comes to food quality, cleanliness, and service. Also, the price is very reasonable. Reading some of the slanderous or false 1-star comments about a 12% service charge or terrible treatment seem unfounded. I've eaten at restaurants around the world and this gem in Ohio is absolutely worth the visit. My wife and I appreciated having Bekzodjon as our waiter today. He did a great job and we left very happy (and full!).

Why go to a chain restaurant if you can have the best food possible here! Huge menu including meat and vegetarian dishes + tasty desserts and amazing hot tea and home made fruit drink!

Friends recommend this authentic Uzbek restaurant in Cincinnati. We had a great dinner here before visiting Kings Island. We tried a few items and most of them were delicious except a cold minced meat appetizer. I really liked their lamb and fried rice. The kebabs tasted fresh and juicy with tomato salad. The coconut cake was also decent as a dessert. Service was great and the room was clean. Definitely a lively restaurant close to Kings Island.
